Royal Australian Navy’s HMAS Cairns is proud to welcome the community to their Open Day.
Explore a range of displays and meet current-serving Officers and Sailors from HMAS Cairns’ Clearance Diving team, Navy Hydrographic Meteorological & Oceanographic team and more.
You can also take a tour of STS Young Endeavour, Navy’s youth development sailing training ship and meet the crew.
Tickets are free, bookings essential.

Flat, enclosed shoes must be worn at all times. Crocs, thongs and “high” heeled shoes are not suitable.

Bag searches will be conducted upon entry

No pets allowed

Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and drinks

Most wharf areas are wheelchair accessible; however, despite best efforts, ship tours require steep ascents and descents are not suitable for wheelchairs or mobility impairments

All people attending are to be aware that there is limited car parking, so we would recommend alternative arrangements if parking is unavailable.
