Training Notice

Maritime training activities near Garden Island Defence Precinct and HMAS Penguin.

Australian Defence Force personnel will be supporting maritime training activities in Sydney around the Garden Island Defence Precinct, HMAS Penguin, and within Sydney Harbour from 12.00 pm on Tuesday, 24 September until 5.00 pm on Friday, 27 September.

The activity also involves personnel from Japan, the Republic of Korea, and the US, as well as the Australian Federal Police and New South Wales Police Force.

Residents may notice increased movement of police and Navy vessels, including small boats. Boarding exercises involving ADF and police vessels and personnel may also be noticed during the day.
